The term in the industry is a "Indie" which is a Domme not working out of a house. And I'm happy to report, I'm a busy one.

Which is bad for my writing, as I need to run and pack my bags for today.

It's been a great first month! Nothing like changing professions to make you take yourself and your life a lot less seriously.

A kink is a kink

I've chatted up a few of my Pro friends just to see how they have managed their emotional, physical and mental health in their work. And each lady had great advice to share. What is interesting to me looking at the business side of this is the need for the facade of bitchiness. I can't say I care for it, and know I'll still be the "Laughing Domme" when I play because I think it's all very cool stuff.

I love the trepidation of players that are coming out for the first time. For them I feel like their drug pusher saying "Come my little slut and take a taste of the wild side. I promise you will be back for more."

For others who just need an occasional fix, it's like enjoying a drink and smoke with an old work friend.

However, I see that most houses or 'indies' have some hard limits and standards of play that I got bored with a long time ago and not part of my regular play. I'm a proud edge player, and I can still chart my course as I see fit. Laughing all the way!

The Semi - Professional

My world is getting larger and happier. After a couple of decades as a lifestyler, and a larger and larger desire to live my passion as my profession, I've decided to slip into the semi-pro leagues.

So what's that mean? You charging for play? Yes and no, if I don't know you, my dance card is already quite full, and new play partners are getting the attention they deserve, so I'm making time in my work schedule for preferred play time for special friends. Contact me for details.

What else does that mean? Well I teach and speak, so look for me out there a little more.

And why go there? It's America, and I can almost do pretty much what I want.
