The Kink Community
Sit down for a bit and imagine what a room full of kinky people look like. Or better yet, go to the park this summer and look for us. This Saturday we were the group of North Americans wearing our Leather pride flags with banners over our tents. We wore our bar vests on and club pins and sported our rainbows of hanky flags in our back pockets. And you may have notice the jewelry adornments around our necks that display our relationship statuses.
We're use to seeing the occasional out there person. The Goth kid with the mohawk is no longer news. The hot chick in the daisy dukes is still a head turner, but so easy when it's just the blossom of youth in it's natural sexuality. What gathered this past Saturday was the coming together of the various self expressions of kinksters from across Southern California to it's annual Leather Gathering. It's Summer and like all packs of mammals we like to gather and recline together. And we are the lucky few of our species. We have been able to embrace our expanded sexual interests, and share them openly with friends in the light of day.
We no longer have a dirty book drawer, we have whole rooms dedicated to the care and feeding of our kink. We have become professionals in educating each other, the next generation through college courses, and the curious with public workshops. We as one bike patch read "Are Hornier than we Look" and we are not afraid to tell you what we want in our kink, sexual desires and relationship goals. And we expect you to do the same when you engage with us.
We are performers, exhibitionist, voyeurs and comedians. We can laugh about ourselves and I cherish our Court Jesters who can help us relax with humor and accept our inner selves.
So when I imagine you looking at us, I know that you will look for a face you recognize. You want to look for someone you know, or someone who looks like you. It can be fuel for your fantasies. DESIRE Part Quatre
My nipples are exploding with delight! I am packed and dressed ready for DESIRE. The all women's leather kink weekend is about to begin and I can't wait.
Toys packed, very little clothing needed thanks to the cool summer of Palm Springs. It's only expected to get up to 98F this weekend. Food is covered and I'm ready to party with the gals in our own special way.
I'll post when I can and pics of course later as well. Angelenos will enjoy Pride Parade this weekend, the Dirty Show for erotic art lovers and Erotic City, the play area after to parade.

Fire and Fun
I had a lovely evening demonstrating some fire play at the Dyke Day LA Fundraiser. An event I would be happy to volunteer again for, these were some hot, beautiful and willing to try most anything Dykes.

SLUT WALK - Los Angeles
What's wrong with Canada? The land of working socialized medicine took a step back in time, when a Toronto Police Office told women to stop dressing like sluts so they didn't get raped. The Women of Toronto responded back with, "Don't blame the victim" and Slut Walk was created.
On June 4, 2011, the Slutwalk march will be held at West Hollywood Park, 647 North San Vicente Blvd, West Hollywood at 12:00 PM. Slutwalk is a rally and march designed to end rape, victim blaming — and to reclaim the word “slut.”
I'm marching, bring your slutty butt out and march with me!
Hollaback is an international movement to end street harassment. We believe that everyone has the right to feel safe, confident, and sexy when they walk down the street. When street harassment happens, don’t ignore it. Or forget it. Don’t just walk on … Hollaback!
